The Right Partnership Can Do What No Vendor Pitch Can

Our knowledge of the homeland space allows us to identify potential “value-added” partnerships for you — the integrators, government primes, associations, and investors that turn a good product into a funded, deployed one.

Where We Sit In The Ecosystem

Nearly Two Decades Of Relationships, Put To Work For You

HSCG doesn't just know the homeland security industry — we've spent years inside it, working alongside the agencies, integrators, and companies that make it up. That network becomes yours.

What “Value-Added” Actually Means

Not Every Introduction Is Worth Making

Anyone can hand you a business card. What makes a partnership value-added is fit — a relationship that closes a real gap, whether that's technical, regulatory, or financial, and that both sides would genuinely miss if it fell apart.

A partnership is only value-added if walking away from it would actually cost you something.

That's the standard we hold introductions to. Sometimes the gap is technical — a product that works but needs a channel into federal procurement. Sometimes it's regulatory — a newer company benefiting from proximity to an established peer during a SAFETY Act application. Sometimes it's capital — a company at an inflection point that needs an investor who already understands this market, not one who has to be convinced it exists.

We work across all three, because after years inside this industry, the map of who actually delivers — versus who just takes meetings — is the thing our clients can't easily build on their own.

What This Looks Like

A Few Examples Of How This Plays Out

Illustrative examples of the kind of matchmaking we do — not case studies of specific clients.

01
Technology + Channel

Finding The Integrator A Product Needs To Reach Government Buyers

A screening technology company had strong field results but no direct line into federal procurement. We connected them with a systems integrator holding the right contract vehicle relationships — turning a good product into a deployable one.

02
Compliance + Credibility

Pairing A SAFETY Act Applicant With An Established Peer

A newer entrant to the SAFETY Act process benefited from a relationship with a more established company already active in the same technology category, strengthening its application and shortening the runway to Designation.

03
Growth + Capital

Introducing A Growth-Stage Company To The Right Investor

When a client's next stage needed capital rather than another government contact, we opened a conversation with an investor already familiar with — and confident in — the homeland security market.

I have had the pleasure to work with Dave over the last several years. He's one of the best idea guys I know, and matches the big picture well, with exceptional abilities to understand and decipher complex technical issues.
